Marcos Tiglio
Born in Buenos Aires February 24h, 1903.
He studied at the National School of Fine Arts, having among others professors to Emilio
Centurión and Jorge Larco. Then he frequented Miguel Carlos Victorica´s atelier.
His shippings to the National Salon date of 1929. Starting from then, he was continuous
exhibitor of National and Provincial Salons. From Chile and Brazil he was invited to
participate in mixed shows. It rewarded to him with important prizes, those that
culminated with the invitation to intervene in the "Premio Palanza."
In the " Nordiska " Salon he shows his paintings for the first time, for
rejoicing of his admirers and periodically the most important galleries in the country are
prestigious for him talent. His important retrospective at the Modern Art Museum in 1963
dazzled several generations, that ignored his important contribution to the Argentinean
art.
He died in Buenos Aires in 1976.
