Alejandro Puente

He was born in La Plata, Province of Buenos Aires, May 1st , 1933.
He studied Vision with Héctor Cartier at the Superior School of Fine Arts of La Plata. In
1960 he realizes his first exhibition with the Group SI. In 1964, he presents at the Lirolay Gallery the "Sensitive Geometry", with foreword by Aldo Pellegrini. In 1967 he obtains the Guggenheim Prize, residing in New York up to 1971. From 1985 Is namedAcademic of Number at the National Academy of Fine Arts.
